Congratulations to Dr. Jeffrey LeBlanc of CCL on passing his Thesis Defense!

Jeffrey LeBlanc of Professor Castaldi’s Combustion Catalysis Lab (CCL) passed his thesis defense on slow pyrolysis reactions for high yields of solid carbon.  In addition to conducting his PhD research, Jeff was an enthusiastic member of the EEC|CCNY team who conducted numerous TGA analyses of waste samples and final conversion products and mentored EEC undergraduates in their lab research.  Jeff also helped bring the discussion of waste management awareness and education in the CCNY student body to the forefront as President of CCNY’s Sustainability Club.  On behalf of the entire EEC team, congratulations Dr. LeBlanc and we wish you great success in your career!
