EEC|CCNY conducts extensive testing of SWPS prototype gasifier at CCNY to inform design of commercial unit

To inform the design of their commercial unit, Sustainable Waste Power Systems (SWPS) collaborated with EEC|CCNY to perform an extensive series of tests on the prototype gasifier that SWPS donated to EEC|CCNY in 2014.  The SWPS gasifier converts wet waste, such as agricultural and brewery waste, into electricity and is designed to handle moisture contents as high as 80% by weight.  A big thank you goes to Dr. Timothy Sharobem and Deepak Sharma who were EEC|CCNY’s lead operational engineers for this battery of tests.
