Tsiamis presents on waste-to-energy at 2014 Annual AICHE meeting in Atlanta

Resident Research Associate, Ms. Demetra Tsiamis, presented on waste sustainability and thermal conversion at the 2014 Annual AICHE meeting in Atlanta, Georgia.  Ms. Tsiamis presented to the Research and New Technology Council (RANTC) committee about the current WtE research activities at EEC|CCNY and proposed the addition of a WtE segment to the AICHE conferences in the following years.  The suggestion was well-received by RANTC and a dialogue was started on how to make this happen.  EEC|CCNY looks forward to collaborating with AICHE to incorporate waste sustainability as part of future AICHE conferences.
