Covanta visits EEC|CCNY Covanta visited EEC|CCNY to see current research activities.  Marija Krstic, CCNY PhD civil engineering student co-advised by Dr. Castaldi and Dr. Davolos as part of the ESE program, showed the Covanta team, which included Director of R&D, Steve Goff, her work in the use of recycled glass for concrete material applications.

Castaldi gives talk on sustainable waste management as part of CCNY’s Conversations in Engaged Scholarship Professor Castaldi was an invited speaker of CCNY’s Conversations in Engaged Scholarship seminar series. His talk provided an overview of sustainable waste management and he discussed the impact that trash has on our society.
