Congratulations to Dane Fearon and Melissa Torres who recently accepted job offers with Corning! Dane and Melissa were chemical engineer undergraduates who joined EEC!CCNY in 2015. During their time at EEC|CCNY, Dane and Melissa led several research projects that included plastic waste characterization, bench scale gasification reactor analyses, and prototype testing of wet waste gasifier at CCNY. Dane and Melissa were both part of CCNY’s LSAMP research program and Dane spent a summer abroad with an EEC|CCNY university collaborator in Japan where conducted research on waste gasification. Dane and Melissa were the first undergraduates of EEC|CCNY and we are very proud of their accomplishments and wish them great success as they begin their professional careers!
